We’re after smart, fearless, highly adaptable lawyers who are excited by fresh thinking and prepared to challenge convention. If that sounds like you, then you’ll fit right in. Here are a few good reasons why you should consider a career with us.
WE’RE GROWING IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES
Corrs is one of Australia’s leading law firms. We’re driven by a strong entrepreneurial management team and we continue to enjoy excellent growth built around a clear vision for our future. That vision is about challenging the way law firms traditionally operate by bridging the gap between legal practice and business challenges. A big part of our success comes from our specialist focus in the areas of Corporate M&A, Infrastructure& Major Projects, Energy & Resources, Insolvency & Restructuring, Communications, Litigation and Banking & Finance.
WE’RE AN EMPLOYER OF CHOICE
Corrs is not just a firm doing great work. It’s a great place to work in its own right. We believe in fostering a work environment that promotes flexibility and diversity. It’s an essential part of our strategy – because our differences help us to think differently. Asialaw magazine declared Corrs one of the best law firms to work for in the Asia Pacific and Business Review Weekly ranked Corrs as one of the 50 best companies to work for in 2009. Corrs has also been awarded the Employer of Choice for Women citation by the Australian Federal Government (EOWA) for four successive years.

Our continued growth and success represents one thing for our lawyers – opportunity. We know where we’re going and you will too. With Corrs, you’ll have the opportunity to advance as fast as your ability allows. It all starts with our structured learning and development program. We’ll work with you to create a plan for your future and you’ll know exactly what’s required of you to achieve your career goals. We even have a High Performance Incentive Plan that gives you the opportunity to earn a significant bonus on top of your salary based on your performance. We want excellence. And we reward excellence.

Corrs lawyers are recognised among the best in their fields within the Australian market. In fact, 45% of the Corrs partnership are listed as Best Lawyers in the 2010 Best Lawyers peer review survey published by the Australian Financial Review (March 2010). We continue to attract more big name partners every day. Unique individuals who can grow our business. Not just lawyers who are great technically, but astute business thinkers in their own right.
