What is twosteps?

We are a job board - we are not a recruitment company and we are not connected to or affiliated or associated with any type of recruitment consultancy, agency or headhunter.

Is it free to use for jobseekers?

Yes.

Do I need to register?

Yes, registration is necessary to apply for jobs or set up alerts. This should only take two minutes.

Can my current employer see my details?

No! Our software does not allow employers to find their own employees in candidate searches.

How do I apply for jobs?

Simply click on the job that you are interested in and then click apply. Applications are sent directly to employers. If you are required to complete a further form on an employers own web site, you will be directed there once you click apply.

How do I manage my applications?

You will be able to see all of your applications and their status in your account manager.

Do I need a cv or resume?

Yes - you will need to attach a cv or resume to your profile to apply for jobs. If you need help in writing this please use our career tips and tools.

How do I get headhunted?

Ensure that you have completed your profile. Employers are most likely to contact suitable and relevant candidates who disclose their profile details, the more information that employers have about you the easier it is for them to decide whether you may be of interest.

Why do you not have recruiters on the site?

We allow employers and employees to interact in a secure environment, whether applying for a job or just passively waiting for a dream job. All jobs on the site are posted by real employers so you know that each job is genuine and you know exactly who you are talking to.

Can I set up job alerts?

Yes, you can set them up for specific employers or general jobs by selecting various filters. If you set up an alert for a specific employer, they will also be notified of your interest in them. You control what type of information that they will see about you, this is managed in your privacy settings.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes, you have complete control over whom sees your profile. If you only want to apply for jobs and never be contacted by employers interested in your type of experience then you can do this in your privacy settings.
